Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.
Filter Options Include:
Hard to be a closed air box with a 3 inch hole in the bottom of the box, looks like this may be away to hook up a snorkle or something. Just not what, i thought i was ordering. Also i order this air box and it took over a week to ship. I had to email over and over to get up dates. I dont think i would order from this company again.
I got it mounted, took some doing, had to cut about .5 to .75 inches off of the Tube. To squeeze it together.......I been looking into adding a Snorkel to this unit.
United StatesThe construction is sturdy the installation was smooth except the fact it did not use the factory holes for the mounting it use a bolt from the battery tray that will not line up when you put the new intake on because the factory wire harness is in the way other than that there are some good engine noise and can't tell an increase in fuel mileage

United StatesInstalled a few weeks ago, overall it's performed well. Good, loud noise from the engine bay. I've only seen about 1 to 2 mpg gain. Only time will tell if it was worth buying.
