Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

Recently purchased the closed box intake for my wife’s 2007 gmc Yukon with 230,000 miles on it. It was an easy install and it looks good and sounds good aswell. The vehicle runs a lot better and my wife and I have noticed a big change in performance in the engine. Highly recommend. Have recently purchased the ford 5.4 triton system for my truck.

It's nice and all just doesn't look as good as I thought it should look for the price It's not smooth were it was put together and rough edges Clamps were cheap Their is no way to fasten the box to the original location of the factory air filter It's a nice upgrade but in my opinion I liked the spectra cold air better
United StatesThe box and filter are great but doesn't have a proper fit with hole in fender and the piping sent was garbage but overall happy with my purchase
United StatesI installed this intake on a 2002 Ford F-150 with a 5.4l Triton. There is a noticeable difference in throttle response and overall efficiency over OEM. I look forward to observing if there is a difference in fuel economy on a long trip. I'm anticipating an improvement based on the gains I'm already noticing with normal local trips. I may buy another Volant intake for our Jeep.
United StatesSo far I love it!! the sound is amazing looks amazing as well I definitely notice it when driving not anything crazy obviously but for what it is I love it!! I will use volant on any vehicle I plan on putting a Coi on!!!!
