Wow, this Volant air intake woke up my engine almost feels like a turbo charged difference on my 2020 Toyota tundra trd pro truck! I was skeptical at first but I'm not sure how much HP it added but you can feel and hear the difference! Not sure about the mpg yet but it is the best choice!
Instructions could have been better but I figured it out with only a few leftover parts. But it sounds amazing and feels strong in my 2016 tundra!
I have a 6” lift with 35’s and was averaging 10.5 mpg before installing a throttle body space and cold air intake. Now I’m at 11.2 mpg average. It’s not too much louder than factory and install was straight forward. Didn’t need many tools and instructions were easy to read.
My 2007 tundra with Volant CAI now with 300K miles averages 19 MPG on open road is now my son's truck, My 2021 Tundra now has a Volant CAI and mileage appears better, will be verifying this when I make a 2,600 mile trip burning $5 per gallon fuel. Very satisfied with VOLANT CAI have driven with it for thousands of miles and over 15 years.
This is a mean intake. I've installed different types of intakes before and this is just the meanest intake I've ever dealt with. I put wireless anemometer in both the factory and new intake and this is by far the biggest increase of pure air flow I've ever seen on an intake. The truck sounds mean ( finally sounds like a v8) and won't have to worry about a gummed up MAF sensor or throttle body because the filter has no oil. Total install time for me was 30 minutes. Easy as pie. Need i say more? This is worth the money.
