Installation Instructions

Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

Instalation was fairly easy, getting the piping onto the throttle body was a little struggle but it sat on nice and firm. Since installing it I feel the throttle breathing better, feels like it's putting down more power, and my favorite part is the noise coming from the engine bay.

Definition of performance and craftsmanship.

I really have enjoyed the Volant cold air intake on my 03 Suburban. It has woke up the 5.3 and gave it a little kick. The look also has dressed up a tired looking engine bay! But what has impressed me the most is the science and thoughtful engineering that went into the design. Improved MPG and lower air intake temperature has only improved the efficiency and performance of the vehicle.

Overall a great Cold air intake. Was easy to install if you have basic mechanical understanding. Have seen an increase in throttle response and a slight gas mileage improvement. Looks really good under hood and have received compliments on it.
