Filter Options
  • Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

    Great product

Instalation was fairly easy, getting the piping onto the throttle body was a little struggle but it sat on nice and firm. Since installing it I feel the throttle breathing better, feels like it's putting down more power, and my favorite part is the noise coming from the engine bay.

    Poor shipment.

Overall the product looks super clean but I do have a couple complaints. The package was damaged when it shipped and the cover of the intake was cracked and broken at the corner.

    It's decent

Performance is decent. Have a couple of issues though. Had to unbolt my coolant reservoir to make it fit and the top cover cracked a week after install.

I like it but, I do have some issues.

Ok so out of the box. Looks great. Works good, i guess. The problems though? After 2 years of use I have a few to list. 1. The tube didn't fit the throttle body very well. Not a huge deal. I got out the drimmel tool and thinned out the walls of the tube. Problem solved. 2. Theres 2 holes one in the bottom the other in the side. No one had the fore sight to add screen to these areas to keep stuff like leaves and anything else it sucks in, from making its way to the filter. 3. Rubber washers... I think hard plastic washers might have been better than rubber. As we all know over time rubber washer soften become brittle and then cease to exist. Specially when you're taking it on and off to clean the leaves off your filter during the winter months. In short I like the product. Mine is a couple years old now. I can only hope they made improvements. It is one of the more expensive cold air intakes. So I feel that it could have a little better quality.
