Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

The intake is great, I can notice a difference from the stock intake it seems to be more responsive on throttle tip in. Install requires a small degree of patience but can be done with hand tools and common sense. Shipping is slow due to supply chain issues, but Volant was pretty good about keeping me informed of the delays.
I didnt want review to early but after a month i can honestly say this product did help my 99 tahoe improve in performance way better than expected and its not as loud as I thought and thats not a bad thing i get better milage and my acceleration is on point...im definitely buying again for another project .. I highly recommend it you wont be disappointed
Product seems like it will work good. I had to modify 2 of the 3 snorkel hole to be able to line up with the throttle body. After doing that it left no room for the washers to work properly.
My volant intake kit has my 99 5.7 sounding alot more aggressive and it takes off from dead stop alot quicker. Love the enhanced throttle response now. Overall a good buy if you ask me
Considering my first order I purchased, that took 2 months to get here got delivered to a house by fedex that doesn’t exist, I bought another one and it came very fast and I love it now that I have it just wish there was a way I could get the other one
The idea of it all is great. The only reason I went with Volant instead of K&N is because of the sealed filter box. Outside of that it was all poorly designed. Silicone tubes could have been longer for sure. The worst part was bolting to the throttle body. The bolt holes didn’t come anywhere close to lining up and the bolts supplied were not anywhere near long enough. By the end of it we have nearly 3 hours and an extra $30 in modifications and hardware to make it work.
It was a pain in the *** to install and I had to use a sleeve from my stock one to make it fit right
We won't bother you too much, but sometimes we have some cool stuff to talk about...
