Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

First 3 I left it bone stock but got bored so was looking for some “bolt-on’s”. Nothing to trick. Anyway read some good things about Volant so I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. I can feel the difference for sure. People tell me it’s all in my head and a bolt on air filter won’t matter. Wrong!!! Better mileage for sure also. Glad I got this one and not the other “popular” one with only initials as its name. Garbage!

Had to shave down a holder for the lines for the power steering, it was preventing the Airbox from sealing down over the Air inlet in the fender.
