Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

United StatesI received the intake & upon installing it I realized the intake pipe that hooks up to throttle body would not sit evenly against TB.Also, a couple of the worn gear clamps were not the appropriate size for connecting intake pipe to throttle body.Ended up having to purchase 2 clamps for intake pipe to throttle body connection as well as a silicone reducer hose so that intake pipe would connect up evenly against throttle body.

United StatesI have had one of these excellent filter systems with Power core and cool air scoop on my 2000 Silverado for at least 5 years now. I have changed the filter twice and am sure I did not need to. I live in Las Vegas where cooler air is a must when I see under hood temps of over 350 degrees in the summer! This SUCKER works and will last. I am in the process of installing a 7.0 liter LS7, and will use this intake system. WELL WORTH THE $$$ !!
