Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

United StatesRight now I’m giving it three stars. Very easy to install only bad thing the air sensor for my 22 expedition does work with this. I had to drill out a new hole and cover the other with duct tape.

Everything I needed to complete the install was included in the box, the installation was straightforward, and the intake fit perfectly. I now have a wonderfully performing cold air intake that’s CARB emissions legal (yes, I unfortunately live in the rainbow state) and an included sticker with the EO # to prove it when I go I for smog.
