Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

This is a mean intake. I've installed different types of intakes before and this is just the meanest intake I've ever dealt with. I put wireless anemometer in both the factory and new intake and this is by far the biggest increase of pure air flow I've ever seen on an intake. The truck sounds mean ( finally sounds like a v8) and won't have to worry about a gummed up MAF sensor or throttle body because the filter has no oil. Total install time for me was 30 minutes. Easy as pie. Need i say more? This is worth the money.
United StatesThis is my second Volant intake. The first was on my 2012 Tacoma and that experience went so well I was confident in purchasing one for my new 2021 Tundra. Once again Volant has delivered. I primarily wanted the system for the high quality air filter but the overall added value to the performance is worth it. Noticeable increase in aggressive tone from the engine and throttle response. In comparison, the kit on the Tundra vs the Tacoma seems to have had more performance impact and was easier to install. I think the price is right for what you get. Highly recommend.
United StatesI took my 2010 Toyota Tundra Limited with 5.7 4wd on a drive before I switched to the Volant Closed Box Air Intake and had 16.4 MPG, after the switch I did a similar drive and went to 18.8 MPG driving in the moutains. Around town, it had a low of 9.7 MPG, but will check it again. Cannot wait to do a test on a highway.
