Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

The intake is great, I can notice a difference from the stock intake it seems to be more responsive on throttle tip in. Install requires a small degree of patience but can be done with hand tools and common sense. Shipping is slow due to supply chain issues, but Volant was pretty good about keeping me informed of the delays.
I didnt want review to early but after a month i can honestly say this product did help my 99 tahoe improve in performance way better than expected and its not as loud as I thought and thats not a bad thing i get better milage and my acceleration is on point...im definitely buying again for another project .. I highly recommend it you wont be disappointed
United StatesProduct seems like it will work good. I had to modify 2 of the 3 snorkel hole to be able to line up with the throttle body. After doing that it left no room for the washers to work properly.
United StatesMy volant intake kit has my 99 5.7 sounding alot more aggressive and it takes off from dead stop alot quicker. Love the enhanced throttle response now. Overall a good buy if you ask me
United StatesGood product just I could use the screws for the throttle body they were to short and had to make one the wholes Biggers so the nut and washer would fit..Also would be great if you add a sticker on the product
