Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

United StatesI have had one of these excellent filter systems with Power core and cool air scoop on my 2000 Silverado for at least 5 years now. I have changed the filter twice and am sure I did not need to. I live in Las Vegas where cooler air is a must when I see under hood temps of over 350 degrees in the summer! This SUCKER works and will last. I am in the process of installing a 7.0 liter LS7, and will use this intake system. WELL WORTH THE $$$ !!
