Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

The grease monkeys at my local Corwin motors stripped my factory air box with power tools, and wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to replace it. Thankfully, Volant makes this excellent enclosed CAI, so for a lesser price, I bought and installed a superior product. Now the oil change robots can look at my filter without touching any screws, hopefully keeping them from destroying it. Better engine sound, noticeable power gains, and a washable filter. United StatesI've had this product about a year now. I didn't and still haven't seen an increase in my fuel mileage or horsepower. It did increase air flow.
United StatesLid to air box was warped causing vacuum leak. I miss the old style air box lid that was all metal with small plastic window.

United StatesEverything fit except the intake tube would not fit the throttle body. The tube was not round so they sent me a new one and that was better but still wouldn't fit so I heated the tube with a heat gun and was adle to re form it.

Looked at instructions as im not a mechanic and very solid line by line removal and installation of product. Took for a test drive.. no lights.. notice a huge difference in horsepower.. truck sounds great and when take off sounds mean
