Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.
This model includes a MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter for improved performance with the comfort of oiled filtration technology for those looking for horsepower.

Installed in less than 1 hour. Had to slightly drill out the holes on the ****** attaching to the air box. My factory air intake manifold was slight off on the center of the bolts. Also the bolts provided could have been longer. There could also be directions stating to cut the baffle that directs air into the radiators so that it does not block front intake slot. Also the gasket for the air intake on the far right was useless. Kept falling off- needs improved.
United StatesWhen I first received the system, I noticed the quality right out of the box. It was a very well put together and came with all the parts necessary to complete the installation. The materials used for the filter, housing, and intake tube were very durable and ascetically pleasing. Installation of the system did not take long at all and really livened up the motor. I had 120,000 miles on my 2005 CTS and the Volant system brought it back to life. It gave the car a great sound and seemed to improve the performance of the car (Butt Dyno). It was an awesome system and I'll be sure to buy Volant again. Thanks again Volant!
