Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.
This model includes two (2) MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filters for improved performance with the comfort of oiled filtration technology for those looking for horsepower.

Volant has good communication as my part was on back order. The reason for the low rating is when I received the part it looked perfect but it was far from it. Every piece I had to modify to get it to fit, even the part that goes through the housing would not fit. I had to modify the brackets because it was off center so far I couldn’t get it hooked up to the intake. Even the air filters were so tight I had to grease them and still struggle to get them on their twin intake piece and that was after I ground off the extra plastic from the mold. The plastic had big ruff cut edges that would have made it impossible to get air filters on and if I could get them on there would have been a gap letting dirt in for sure. Literally every piece had to be modified. Took a long time to get installed because of this.

United StatesThe intake was very easy to install but when I was trying to put the trim around the edge ot would not stay in place. It also seemed to long. I trimmed the ends thinking that would help but it still wont stay in place at the front. If I could get a replacement trim and exact instructions on how the install it, I would definately give it 5 stars
