I have an intake in my tundra works great. Figured it would be good for my Boss 302. The 5/8 hose was prefolded and seared together. I figured ok i guess thats where i cut it, nope. Too short. I had to go buy a replacement. The fit and finish is ok. 1 of the screws on the intake tube just keeps turning, not sure if its even suppose to move. Thats there the 5/8 hose connects to. Not sure if its suppose to do that. With everything installed, i take off and things seem ok. Then all of a sudden 1st and 2nd gear are very jerky/ jumpy. The check engine light comes on. I get that code read and maf sensor is "bad". Finally get the new maf in and same issue. Running lean and just smells like fuel. No bueno. I remove the cai and install the oem one and the car runs great with no issues. This cai looks great and i wish it would have worked out for me Boss. Hopefully something can be done because it wasnt cheap.
