Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.
This model includes a MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter for improved performance with the comfort of oiled filtration technology for those looking for horsepower.

First off the customer service was impeccable. I didn’t ever have to reach out with any questions. They kept me posted with email and even gave me a discount without me asking because it took a little long to receive my order then expected. I was also warned ahead of time that it may take a while to receive my purchase so it’s not like I was blind sided. The install wasn’t bad at all and is very straight forward. If you do your own work on your cars and have general automotive knowledge you can do this install in twenty minutes or so no problem. The quality and performance is visible and noticeable on my butt Dino. It’s visibly pleasing and declutters the engine bay. It audibly made a huge difference you can hear the engine a lot more when accelerating in a good way. And the engine feels a little more powerful and responsive. The stock intake was definitely constrictive. The only con I have is the plexiglass lid on the box doesn’t have the best seal when you snug all the screws one corner sticks up a little bit and there is a small air gap. It’s nothing to worry about because it’s going to an air filter. However if you are really concerned about getting only cold air and no hot engine air then it may bother you. Me personally, I am not concerned at all. All around a great product, made in America, with amazing customer service. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone.

United StatesIt was a little harder to install than expected, and it could have used a little better instructions, but I was able to install in about 30 minutes. Not sure of performance gains. Sold the truck the following day. Took over a month to receive and was given discounts for my wait.
