Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.
This model includes a MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter for improved performance with the comfort of oiled filtration technology for those looking for horsepower.

I bought it for my 90 Silverado 5.7 1500... Without resetting my ECM I noticed a tiny difference in power but a big difference in mpg. Resetting the ECM game me a cool power difference. She accels better now and i can imagine I got more muscle to pull. My mpg is even worse now but MORE AIR=MORE GAS=MORE POWER... I was gonna buy the k&n but it's too expensive but I might look for a k&n filter if it ain't too much an it fits the mod.
We won't bother you too much, but sometimes we have some cool stuff to talk about...
