Very tight fitment and connection to the vehicle is not exactly the same. The factory 2.7 Bronco connection is tapered while the Volant filter is straight. It takes a bit to get it connected and the included hose clamp can force the filter off. Pay close attention to make sure the filter is completely connected to the vehicle.
