Volant Pre-Filters are factory treated using a proprietary hydrophobic process and are manufactured from the same durable polyester material as their race proven regular style. This unique material contains uniform micron openings that will filter out debris .005 or larger. This pre-filter will prevent splashes of water, mud and sand from saturating your air filter.
Put 90,000 miles on my first one . Couldn’t be more happy. . Regular driving and construction sites.. on road and off-road performed excellent never lost any performance . Second one here’s to another 90,000 miles. Well worth the money..
United StatesFitment was poor and I had to redrill the mounting holes. I did expect a better out-of-box fit as I purchased the model for my exact vehicle. Not the the drop-in experience I expected for the price. Overall it is nice once installed, but a larger project than anticipated. Sad that for nearly $500 you need to take a Dremel to it.
United StatesVery good filter as always. Also their customer service is acceptional. When I ordered my filter I accidentally ordered the wrong filter. After a day I got their email showing me the filter and immediately called and they switched them around paid the difference before they left the warehouse. Just appreciate that

United StatesSo far everything works great. I worried that this would affect air flow but it doesn’t. I bought the powercore. Honestly should have done it years ago. My 12 year old truck feels more responsive, compared to my original volant oiled filter. Great product so far!
